My cousin Vinnie celebrated his first birthday on Saturday, and it was a really fun party. Even though he looks a little less than thrilled - his Elmo cake was fantastic!

Sunday with Zaidy

Daddy and I spent a great Sunday afternoon with Zaidy Al, Lori and Qunicy. We had a whole lotta fun - plus, continuing on the weekend's "gentlewoman-farmer/modern day-goat herder/city-girl in the country" theme there were lots of horsey rides here, too.

This guy is the Fair's Grand Champion Pig - which not only explains his size, but also his laziness as demonstrated in the first picture.

Saturday with Safta

I went to the Royal Winter Fair on Saturday with Safta and Mum and Dad - and had the best time! I galloped with goats, schmoozed with sheep, partied with pigs and left everyone with the distinct impression that membership in the FFA is not far off.
