Cute Boys!

Here are some of my friends from the "Monday Mommies" group - from top to bottom - Rigas, Leland and Noah.

Yummy!

I am really enjoying my food these days - and my fav fruit? Prunes, as shown here. Strange, but true.

Say Cheese!

Working with Dad

Well, it's been awhile since my last post - thanks to all who commented. Lots of interesting viewpoints. (Should we talk about the Canadian election result? Hmmmmm.) Here I am with my Dad, helping him with some of his work - who knew the insurance industry was so interesting?

Come Start a Revolution with Me

"Even though I have come to be wary of dead heroes and the overwhelming burden their martyrdom imposes on the living, I will allow myself a prophecy. Or maybe it is a warning.

More than 3 billion human beings on this planet right now live on less than $2 a day. And every day that breaks, 40,000 children — more than one every second! — succumb to diseases linked to chronic hunger. They are there, always there, the terrifying conditions of injustice and inequality that led Che many decades ago to start his journey toward that bullet and that photo awaiting him in Bolivia.

The powerful of the earth should take heed: deep inside that T shirt where we have tried to trap him, the eyes of Che Guevara are still burning with impatience."

Pen's Birthday

It was my cousin Pen's first birthday on January 11th and he had a party on Saturday to celebrate. It was so much fun - I got to play with all his great toys, we had lots of food, cake, loot bags and there was a magic show by the Great Garlu (sp?). In the picture below Pen is opening the present we brought - a Little People Train set. That's the other super thing about these Birthday Parties - everyone brings you lots of presents. I can't wait till my first birthday!

The Eyes of Ella Worth

Could they be more beautiful?

Visiting with Jacqueline

Ella and I had a fun afternoon hanging out at her cousin Jacqueline's house. She is a cutie - I am so happy to have another great girlfriend!

More Playtime Pics

Yummy! I am teething lots now, so this soother tastes great, even if it isn't kosher. I am also enjoying my new blocks, a gift from Auntie Liza and Uncle Jordan.

Good Morning!

A lazy morning, hanging out in my jammies, playing with my links.

Hannukkah Party!

The final event of the season was a fun Hannukkah party at my Safta's house. Nonna and Grandad came, and my Auntie Liza and Uncle Jordan were there too. My cousin Ella (who was looking gorgeous in her red silk dress - very hot) and I had a great time - I can't wait til I can do this all over again next year! Dad has lots of video of this party, I will keep bugging him to put up a link.

More Family Christmas Fun

On the 27th we had another great dinner party and I met with some of my Grandad's extended family for the very first time! His cousin Bob - is here with me and Mummy. Then, I had a cuddle with Emma Claire, who is my Grandad's cousin John's daughter (and who, I might add, has THE BEST collection of Barbie and Barbie accessories I've ever seen. I can't wait till I am a bit older to really play with Emma and her great toys!) John's wife Mary is here too - she has met me before, and it was great to see her again!

Christmas Day

There was ALOT happening on Christmas Day - it was very exciting! We all went to my Great Auntie Deenie and Uncle Eric's house in Kitchener. First, Grandad brushed off his guitar (after a very long hiatus), and we had a sing a long. He even learnt a special Hannukkah song just for me. Then, Santa Claus visited and brought all the kids (Abby, Pen and baby Vinnie are featured here) and Nonna B a special present. I had passed out from excitement by this point so unfortunately there are no pictures of me with him. I will have to wait for next year!

Christmas with Nonna and Grandad

Because my Nonna and Grandad celebrate Christmas, we spent Christmas morning at their house. I got to open a special stocking with lots of lovely presents.

There was so much going on I had to take a little time out and relax with my Grandad. Most of this is actually on video, so I am going to try and post a link a bit later.

Holiday Recap!

Well, Happy Hannukkah, Merry Christmas and a very joyous and peaceful New Year to all. It's time for a holiday wrap up - I've been to lots of parties, spent time with my extended family, and visited with all my friends. I hope everyone had as wonderful a time as I did!

We'll start with what Mummy thinks is one of the best pics from the season. Here I am in my Hannukkah PJs, posing in front of our mennorah.
